Learning to successfully bake here in the beautiful Mile High City can be quite a challenge! Whether you are a recent transplant or a Front Range Native, almost all baking recipes are written for sea level cooking.  In this hands-on class – a must for all would-be bakers – Chef Tlanezi will instruct on the fundamentals of baking at altitude, from properly scaling ingredients, leavening, mixing, creaming and the crumb method, to the importance of temperatures and adjustments. With new-found confidence in the kitchen, you’ll learn the techniques to making a selection of baked goods which will turn out truly delicious – every time!
